Mark Garvey

Mark Garvey has extensive work experience in analytics and healthcare management. Mark is currently serving as the Director of Analytics for CSAM, a company that provides software products and services to the health and public safety industry. In this role, Mark oversees the CSAM Optima health analytics business in the UK and EMEA region.

Prior to joining CSAM, Mark held the position of Director of Analytics at Intermedix, where they worked from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they were the Director of Analytics at Optima by R1, a subsidiary of R1 RCM, from 2018 to 2021.

Mark has also worked at eMBED Health Consortium, where they served as a Customer & Contracts Director and later as the Business Intelligence Director. Additionally, they have experience in management consulting and project delivery through their roles at Mouchel Management Consulting and Lloyd Davies Associates plc.

Throughout their career, Mark has been involved in using data and analytics to improve emergency services and healthcare delivery efficiency. Their experience includes leading teams, transitioning services, and delivering high-quality reports and intelligence to the health system.

Mark Garvey attended Queen Mary's College in Basingstoke from 1990 to 1992, where they pursued A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Design & Technology. After completing their A-Levels, they enrolled at the University of Leicester from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Risk-Taking for Leaders from LinkedIn in December 2017.
