Lance Gentile is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as the Technology Team Lead for Observability at CSC since October 2022, managing a global Agile development team focused on APM, log analytics, and network performance monitoring. Previously, Lance held the role of IT Manager at Eaton for 14 years, leading a team of senior subject matter experts and handling a significant software budget while overseeing complex vendor licensing agreements and enterprise monitoring solutions. With a strong background in IT management and incident handling, as well as experience in systems engineering and network administration, Lance has developed expertise in various monitoring toolsets and process improvements throughout a diverse career that began in client/server operations at Progressive Insurance. Lance holds a Master's degree in Digital Sciences from Kent State University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Franklin University.
