Alberto Madonna is a Senior Software Engineer at CSCS since March 2016, specializing in the development, operation, and support of Linux container technologies for high-performance computing (HPC). Notable projects include the continued development of the Sarus container engine and OCI hooks, alongside previous experience as a Software Engineer - Research Fellow at Osservatorio Astronomico di Roma-INAF, where support was provided for the ASTRI collaboration in the context of the Cherenkov Telescope Array. Alberto holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova and has also participated in the 7th INFN International School focused on efficient scientific computing applications. An undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering was obtained from the same university, complemented by a High School Diploma in Classical Studies from Liceo Classico "G. Marconi."
