Nur Aiman Fadel

Nur Aiman Fadel is an accomplished professional in scientific computing and software engineering, currently serving as the Head of the Scientific Computing Unit and a Scientific Software Engineer at CSCS since June 2017. Prior to this, Nur Aiman worked as a Business Analyst at Avaloq Sourcing (Switzerland & Liechtenstein) SA, where responsibilities included project development for Forex, fiduciaries, and Money Market areas, as well as software development and support for over five new banks. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Politecnico di Milano, along with a Master's degree in Physics Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics. Additional experience encompasses postdoctoral research on scalable parallel preconditioners and junior research involving polymer extrusion processes.
