Pim Witlox is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and software development across various industries, including telecommunications, academic research, and civil engineering. Currently serving as Unit Head Engineer and Senior Architect at CSCS and ETH Zürich since March 2023, Pim leads one of five engineering units dedicated to high-performance computing systems. Previously, Pim held roles such as Research Software Engineer at the University of Zurich, Lead Architect for Data, Analytics & AI at Swisscom, and Lead Science IT Engineer at the University of Zurich, reflecting a strong academic and industry background. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Roehampton and an Ingenieur degree in Informatics from Fontys Hogeschool, Eindhoven.
