Kelly Schroeder is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in leadership and management roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of IT at Colorado Early Colleges since May 2022, Kelly previously held significant positions including Information Technology Client Services Manager for the City of Fort Collins, where a successful transition to a fully virtual workspace was led during COVID-19. As the Owner of Bastion Technology Consulting, Kelly provided fractional CIO consulting services, while previous roles at Numerica Corporation, the Institute of Business & Medical Careers, Land Ownership Services, and Computer Outfitter, Inc. demonstrated a strong background in IT management, helpdesk operations, and customer relationship management. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University.

Colorado Early Colleges (CEC) is a network of tuition-free public charter schools, authorized by Colorado Charter School Institute, with a curriculum that is designed to give students the opportunity to graduate with a postsecondary credential (an associate degree and/or career and technical education certificate(s), or 60 college credits within four years! CEC has middle and high school campuses all across Colorado, plus an Online Campus and College Direct options. CEC is open to all students who wish to apply. All students, regardless of background or skill level, will have the opportunity to pursue a growth mindset that will allow them to achieve mastery and to demonstrate that they can succeed in school, in college, and in their chosen career. No exceptions. No excuses.
