Data Scientist at CSEM

Kishan Sharma is a Data Scientist currently employed at CSEM since March 2022, specializing in multi-camera calibration for driver monitoring, virtual reality-based gaze calibration, and 3D reconstruction for predictive quality tools. Prior to this role, Kishan worked as a Research Associate at Fraunhofer FOKUS from November 2019 to March 2022, focusing on perception algorithms for self-driving vehicles, developing deep learning models, and supervising master's thesis projects. Kishan also has experience as a Student Assistant at Technical University Munich and conducted a master thesis at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, where a novel deep learning architecture was developed for bio-waste conversion. Additional roles include a Machine Learning Working Student position at PreciBake, modeling deep learning networks for food classification, and a Graduate Engineer Trainee role at Havells India Ltd. Kishan holds a Master of Science in Computational Science & Engineering from Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur.
