Amund Tallaksen

Amund Tallaksen is a data scientist at The Council of State Governments Justice Center, a position held since November 2020. Previously, Amund served as an eCommerce Research Assistant at the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in the summer of 2019 and as an Adjunct Professor of History at Carnegie Mellon University from January 2017 to May 2018. Amund's educational background includes a Master of Science in Public Policy Analysis from Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy (2018-2020), a Ph.D. in History from Carnegie Mellon University (2009-2015), a Master of Arts in History from Leiden University (2008-2009), and a Bachelor of Arts in American Government and Politics from the University of Oslo (2003-2007).
