Gabriel Schuster

Gabriel Schuster is an experienced professional with a strong background in program management, education, and sustainable cities. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager for Strategy and External Affairs at CSH, the Source for Housing Solutions since February 2017, Gabriel previously held the role of Program Manager - Analyst. In academia, Gabriel contributed as a Faculty member at the School of Visual Arts, teaching Mapping and Data Visualization for social applications, and worked as a Lecturer at Hunter College in geography and geographic technology. Gabriel’s research experience includes a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at the CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities, focusing on sustainability challenges in urban settings. Early career experiences include roles as Coordinator at Scripps Networks Interactive and Web Photojournalist at Exploration Summer Schools. Gabriel holds a Master's degree in Geography and a GISC in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Hunter College, along with a B.A. in Geography from Vassar College.
