Saugat Chowdhury has over 10 years of experience in the field of network engineering and infrastructure management. Saugat started their career as a CISCO Network Support Analyst at Commsupport Networks Ltd, where they assembled and cabled Cisco Network devices, maintained and repaired Cisco routers and switches, and upgraded their IOS and firmware. Saugat then moved on to work at Nettitude Limited as a Network Engineer, providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support on various technologies and managing internal infrastructure. At RR Donnelley, Saugat worked as a Network Engineer for the EMEA region, managing and improving LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure and liaising with 3rd parties. Saugat joined Yusen Logistics (Europe) as an Infrastructure and Network Specialist, where they designed, implemented, and troubleshooted LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VoIP infrastructure, managed Cisco ASA Corporate Firewall and VoIP solution, and ensured network security. Saugat then worked at APSU Limited as a Senior Network Analyst, providing 3rd line support, project design and implementation, and network consultancy. Currently, they are working at CSI Ltd as the Network Operations Leader/Head of Networks & Design Architect, overseeing the management of critical business applications to the cloud and leading a team in network design and operations.

Saugat Chowdhury completed their Bachelor of Science with Honors in IT with BIS from Middlesex University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degree, Saugat has obtained several certifications from Cisco, including CCNP Security in April 2015, Cisco ASA Specialist in June 2013, CCNP Voice - CIPT1v8.0 in June 2011, and Cisco Certified Network Associate in 2008. Saugat recently achieved the certification of Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core in October 2021. Saugat also holds the certification of CCNP Security - Firewall v1.0, which they obtained in May 2012.
