Thomas H. Koundry

Thomas Koundry joins CSI Technology Group with over thirty years of experience in law enforcement and operations. He has experience in leadership roles, in directing and training of law enforcement and civilian personnel.

Most recently, Thomas Koundry served as Chief of Staff for the Union County Prosecutor’s Office. Prior to that, he attained the rank of Deputy Chief at the East Orange Police Department.

During his tenure at the Union County Prosecutor’s Office, Tom’s duties included financial and asset management, and police agency liaison, which included regular interfacing with 26 municipal and state law enforcement agencies, Infoshare, and Evidence.com county-wide administrator. Tom also served as Interim Director of Union County Prosecutor’s Forensic Laboratory.

In 2014, Tom took on the lead role in managing a project that integrated UCPO case management, document management, and all prosecution functionality into the Infoshare system.

During his 26 years with the East Orange Police Department, Deputy Chief Koundry served in many positions in the police department from a police officer, detective, sergeant, lieutenant, captain, and inspector. Most notably, as the commander of the Violent Crimes Taskforce.

Tom also served as a volunteer Emergency Management Coordinator for the Township of Byram.
