Pedro Hípola

Pedro Hípola is a distinguished academic and researcher, currently serving as a Full Professor and Research Manager at UNIR - La Universidad en Internet since March 2018. Pedro holds the position of European regional editor for Digital Library Perspectives at Emerald Publishing and has been involved with the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas as a Co-editor and secretary since January 2015. Additionally, Pedro leads a research team at Software Documental and previously contributed significantly at the University of Granada as a Professor and consultant for over three decades. Pedro's editorial leadership was evident during time at El Profesional de la Información, where roles included Contributor, Deputy Director, Director, and Editor. A graduate of Universidad de Granada with a PhD in Information Science, Library and Information Science, Pedro remains active in the academic community.
