Adam O'Neill

Research Scientist - quantum technology

Adam O'Neill is a research scientist specializing in quantum technology and thin films, currently part of the Impossible Without You early career program at CSIRO. They develop fabrication systems for epitaxial growth of materials used in quantum sensors and high-temperature superconductors. Previously, Adam worked as a process development engineer at Lusix, where they focused on PECVD process and machine development for lab-grown diamonds, and served as a research assistant at Landa Labs in the renewable energy sector. Adam earned a PhD in Materials Science from UNSW, following a Bachelor of Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, graduating cum laude.
