Andrew Lenton is the Director of the Permanent Carbon Locking Future Science Platform at CSIRO and previously served as the Research Director of the Climate Science Centre in 2021. They were a Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO from 2018 to 2021. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Macquarie University, a Bachelor of Antarctic Studies with Honours from the University of Tasmania, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Oceanography from the same institution.
