Binzhong Zhou

Binzhong Zhou is a Senior Principal Research Geophysicist at CSIRO, specializing in geophysics applications for borehole logging and geophysical imaging to enhance ore-body delineation, mine planning, and increasing mining safety. They previously served as a lecturer in geophysics at Chengdu University of Technology and held multiple research roles, including as a Consulting Researcher in seismic data processing at the Elf Geoscience Research Centre in London. Binzhong completed a Ph.D. in Geophysics at The Flinders University of South Australia and holds both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Geophysics from Chengdu University of Technology. Their diverse experience spans academic and industry settings, focusing on improving mining efficiency and safety through advanced geophysical techniques.
