Chi Nguyen is currently a research scientist at CSIRO, specializing in hydrodynamic modeling for a flood mitigation project in Northern Rivers, Australia. With a strong background in hydrology, Chi has developed expertise in analyzing remote sensing data, solving hydrological and hydraulic models, and utilizing GIS software. Prior to this role, Chi served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Monash University, contributing to research on flood forecasting and remote sensing applications. Chi holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Monash University, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering and experience as a research assistant and teaching assistant during their studies.
