Chris Chilcott is the Deputy Director of Environment at CSIRO, where they leverage a technical background in rangeland ecology to develop science strategies and deliver sustainable management solutions for Australia's environmental assets. With fifteen years of experience in agricultural industry development, Chris has focused on animal industries, pastoral production, and rangeland management. Previously, Chris held roles as Research Leader for the Northern Territory and Assistant Science Director at CSIRO, as well as Regional Director for the Department of Food and Agriculture WA. Chris earned a BSc in Environmental Science from Murdoch University and a PhD in Ecosystem Management from the University of New England (AU). Currently, Chris serves as a Non Executive Director at RSPCA NT.
