Dr. Deborah Lau, MAICD, FRACI, is the Research Director for Industry Environments at CSIRO, where they lead initiatives addressing environmental challenges linked to industrial activity. With over 15 years of experience in innovation strategy and multidisciplinary research leadership, Deborah has been recognized nationally and internationally for their contributions to cultural heritage and conservation science. They are skilled in managing large-scale operations and research portfolios, and their recent work includes the global commercialization of a novel varnish for protecting valuable artworks. Deborah also holds an honorary fellowship at the University of Melbourne and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics.
