Denham Parker is a marine ecologist and fisheries scientist specializing in fishery populations. They served as a Research Scientist at the South African Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries from 2016 to 2022, focusing on stock assessment and fisheries management for sustainable resource use. Previously, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cape Town from 2015 to 2016, where they worked on quantifying the impacts of exploitation on marine ecosystems.
