Kate Maiden is currently involved in Partnerships and Industry Engagement at CSIRO Education. They previously held various roles at CSIRO from 2017 to 2020, including Senior Project Officer and Team Leader for STEM Professionals in Schools. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Classroom Teacher at Mt Waverley Secondary College and Adelaide High School from 2001 to 2009, and served as a Field and Laboratory Assistant at Ecowise Environmental in 2006. Kate holds a Grad Dip Ed in Secondary Education from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Geology from Monash University.
