Wee Tek Tay

Wee Tek Tay is currently a Principal Research Scientist and Team Leader in Pest Genomics at CSIRO, and serves as an Adjunct Fellow at Macquarie University in NSW. They have contributed to international initiatives as a member of the FAO/IPPC FAW Technical Working Group and the EFSA Working Group on Priority Pests. Wee Tek has held various postdoctoral fellowships at prestigious institutions, including the University of Helsinki, Queen's University Belfast, and the Max-Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology. They are pursuing a PhD in Genetics with a focus on Population and Evolutionary Genetics at La Trobe University.
