Caitlin Welsh is the Director of the Global Food Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a position held since 2020. Previously, Caitlin worked as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. African Development Foundation and served in various roles within the U.S. Department of State, including Acting Director of the Secretary's Office of Global Food Security. From 2018 to 2020, Caitlin was the Director for Global Economic Engagement at the National Security Council, The White House. Caitlin holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
