Chloe Himmel

Chloe Himmel is a national security and government affairs professional with extensive experience in legislative roles. Currently, they serve as the Director of Congressional and Government Affairs at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, Chloe worked at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2021 to 2025, where they held multiple positions, including Chief of Staff for Legislative Affairs. Their prior roles include serving as Chief of Staff and Senior Government Affairs Analyst at Lockheed Martin and positions with the Transportation Security Administration and the United States Department of Defense. Chloe earned a Master of Arts in National Security Policy Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Tulane University.
