David Michel

David Michel is a Senior Fellow for Water Security at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where they focus on global food and water security. They have extensive experience in environmental security, including serving as Director of the Environmental Security Program at The Stimson Center and as a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Climate and Security. Michel has held various research and consulting roles with organizations such as SIPRI, the Atlantic Council, and the World Wildlife Fund. They are currently pursuing degrees in Political Science at Yale University, International Relations at The Johns Hopkins University, and Sociology at École des hautes études en sciences sociales.
