David Yang

David Yang is currently a Research Intern at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), contributing to the Economics Program and the Scholl Chair in International Business since September 2025. Previously, David served as Treasurer for the Wadham College Student Union, managing an annual budget of £36,000 and negotiating with college administration on various policies. A brief tenure as a Summer Research Analyst at Greenmantle involved providing geopolitical and macroeconomic advisory services to top financial clients. David also gained experience as a Spring Investment Management Intern at Morgan Stanley and held editorial positions at The Oxford Blue, where notable achievements included winning the Best Political Piece award in 2023. Currently, as an Economics Analyst at the Bloomsbury Intelligence and Security Institute, David focuses on North American trade policy and international finance. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford, complemented by A-Level qualifications from Charterhouse School.
