Emma Hsu

Adjunct Fellow (Non-resident)

Emma Hsu is a PhD student and Adjunct Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), currently researching the transmission of astronomy and space-related technology from the Yuan dynasty to the present day. With over 10 years of experience working in China, Emma has held various roles, including Senior Project Manager at Intralink and China Business Development Manager at Vayyar Imaging. Emma's research interests focus on the connections between different cultures through the shared experience of the night sky and include exploration across various geographies and social strata. Emma holds a Master’s degree in Asian International Affairs and Conflict Resolution from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McGill University.
