Eric Palomaa is director of partnerships and deputy director of Executive Education and Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where he engages corporate executives, senior government officials, and nonprofit managers to create impactful peer-to-peer networks, tailored leadership programming, and innovative educational trainings. An experienced development strategist and fundraiser, Eric has spent over a decade working with multinational corporations, asset management firms, think tanks, major foundations, and family offices to build successful philanthropic partnerships. Prior to rejoining CSIS in 2020, Eric led business development for a global luxury travel brand. He previously served as director of development for the Brookings Institution and, earlier, as director of institutional relations at CSIS. He holds a master’s degree in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in history and international affairs from Trinity University in Texas.
