Han Chen

Han Chen is a program manager and research associate with the Freeman Chair in China Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where they manage the Interpret: China project and conduct research on various topics. Previously, Han worked as an editorial fellow at Axios and has experience as a broadcaster with Radio Free Asia, focusing on U.S.-China relations and the Chinese democracy movement. Their work has appeared in notable publications such as Foreign Policy and Voice of America. Han holds a master's degree in international reporting from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism and a bachelor's degree in journalism and Jewish studies from Penn State University. They possess full language proficiency in Mandarin and English.
