Harrison Pretat

Harrison Pretat is the Deputy Director and Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). They have held various roles at CSIS, including Associate Fellow and Research Associate, and have contributed to the Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative. Harrison's past experiences include teaching at Xi'an Polytechnic University and Xi'an Siyuan University, where they engaged students through innovative language teaching methods. They also served as a Graduate Assistant at Syracuse University's Maxwell School, coordinating events and leading conversation groups. Harrison earned a Master of Arts in International Relations at Syracuse University and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, graduating summa cum laude from Purchase College, SUNY.
