Joyce Bongongo

Joyce Bongongo is an ambitious research consultant with a background in international trade law and policy, holding an LLM from American University Washington College of Law, an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a BCom in Economic Sciences and Econometrics. Currently, Joyce serves as an Associate Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, following previous roles as a Research Associate and Dean’s Fellow. Joyce has also contributed to the South African Institute of International Affairs as a Youth Policy Committee Member and Research Intern, co-authoring the UNICEF Youth Advocacy Guide and facilitating various educational events. Known for strong interpersonal skills and a detail-oriented approach, Joyce continuously develops their research and public speaking abilities while remaining open to new experiences.
