Michaela Simoneau

Michaela Simoneau is a global health security analyst currently serving as a Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) since 2025. Previously, Michaela held various positions at CSIS, including Associate Fellow and Program Manager, where they managed studies on U.S. health policy and programs. Michaela's research interests focus on infection prevention in emergency settings impacted by geopolitics, conflict, and climate change. They have also contributed to health initiatives through roles at HarvardX, Tufts Medical Center, and the Center for Health Security. Michaela is pursuing a Master of Public Health in Humanitarian Health and Disaster Response at The George Washington University, expected to conclude in 2026.
