Sydney Seiler

Sydney Seiler is a Senior Adviser at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), specializing in the Korean Chair. With over 40 years of experience in intelligence, national security, and diplomacy related to the Korean Peninsula, Sydney has worked in various prestigious positions, including at the White House National Security Council and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Sydney's expertise includes directing strategic assessments and formulating national policy, alongside extensive negotiations with senior officials from Korea and neighboring countries. Fluent in Korean, Sydney has spent over 17 years in Korea and also holds a Master of Arts in Korean Studies from Yonsei University.
