William Bodie

William Bodie is senior director of development at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), supporting the Office of Development and the International Security Program in achieving the center's mission, vision, and values. Prior to joining CSIS, he was director of development at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments. He has more than three decades of leadership in government, industry, and the nonprofit sector, including serving as executive vice president at Parsons Corporation, special assistant to the secretary and director of communications for the U.S. Air Force, director of communications at Northrop Grumman Corporation, and senior fellow at the Institute for National Strategic Studies at the National Defense University. He earned a master of arts in politics from New York University and a bachelor of arts in history from Columbia University.
