Abbas Khan

Abbas Khan is currently a Scientific Associate at CSL, starting in August 2023. Prior to this role, Abbas served as an Associate Researcher at ProFound Therapeutics from October 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included designing and developing an FC fusion platform and conducting in vivo studies with scaled-up cultures. From January to July 2022, Abbas worked as a Research Associate at EMD Serono, Inc., focusing on protein purification and characterization for biotherapeutic drug candidates. Earlier experience includes a Teacher Assistant position at Northeastern University and a Research Assistant role at Morphic Therapeutics. Abbas holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology Enterprises and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, both from Northeastern University. Additionally, Abbas has experience as a Personal Trainer and a Medical Assistant prior to transitioning into scientific roles.
