Alisha Thies

Alisha Thies is a Senior Scientist in Process Development at CSL Behring since January 2020, focusing on minimizing environmental impact while enhancing process efficiency and integrating innovative technologies. Key responsibilities include leading the process development excellence team, mentoring colleagues, and conducting high-priority laboratory work. Previously, Alisha served as a Scientist II in Bioprocess Sciences, where project leadership involved risk reduction in manufacturing processes. Prior experience includes a Research Specialist II role at The University of Chicago, where project leadership and collaboration in protein interaction analysis were integral. Alisha also worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Illinois State University, completing a Master's thesis on Leishmania major, and held laboratory positions at Archer Daniels Midland and Tate & Lyle. Alisha holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Illinois State University.
