John Sears

John Sears, PhD, MBA, currently serves as Sr. Director of Global Market Access at CSL since May 2020, focusing on global commercial development. Previously, John held various strategic roles at Johnson & Johnson from February 2016 to May 2020, including Health Care Access Strategy Director for Immunology and Cardiovascular and Metabolics, where John contributed to value-based care strategies. Prior experience at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies included roles in global strategic marketing for Hepatitis B and C, as well as leadership in Medical Science Liaison functions. John's early career at ZS Associates involved management consulting in sales and marketing analytics for the biotech and pharma sectors. John earned an MBA with a focus on General Management and Marketing from Drexel University and a PhD in Molecular Biology from Northwestern University, following a BS in Biology from Ursinus College.
