Branislav Straka

Branislav Straka has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Branislav began their career at HVB Bank in 2002, where they worked as the Head of Retail Banking. In this role, they were responsible for building the retail branch network, growing the customer base, and overseeing P/L and income growth. Branislav also played a role in product development and marketing activities. In 2005, Straka moved to BNP Paribas Cardif, where they served as CEO. After that, in 2006, they joined KBC Group as the Head of Retail. In this position, they focused on developing all retail activities and was responsible for P/L, income growth, and client portfolio. Branislav also played a role in building the branch network and new channels. Later in 2014, Straka joined ČSOB Finančná skupina as the COO, Innovation and Design, Payments.

Branislav Straka earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in machinery from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave from 1988 to 1993. Branislav then completed a degree in Marketing and Sales, earning an Ing. from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave from 1991 to 1996.
