Viera Kovalova has extensive experience in various roles within the finance and telecommunications industry. Viera joined ČSOB Finančná skupina in 2014 and held positions such as Head of Customer Insight Department and Program Manager Big Data. Prior to that, they worked at Slovak Telekom as an NBD Manager and Process & Quality Expert. Viera also worked for T-Mobile SK as a Process & Quality Advisor. Viera's career began at Slovenská sporiteľňa, where they were a Process Reengineering Expert and Business Analyst/Trainee University Studies.
Viera Kovalova holds an Engineer's Degree in Finance, Banking and Investment from Economic University Bratislava, which they obtained between 1996 and 2001. Viera also completed Postgraduate Studies in Big Data and Analytics at KU Leuven in 2019. In addition, they hold a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategic Management from The Open University, which they earned from 2007 to 2010. Furthermore, they obtained the certification "Learning Data Science: Understanding the Basics" from LinkedIn in 2018 and became a Certified Scrum Master through Scrum Alliance in 2016. Viera Kovalova also has certifications in Project Management and Six Sigma Green Belt.
