Wael Bassiony

Wael Bassiony is an accomplished project manager with extensive experience in IT and business analysis. Currently serving as a project manager at CSR Limited, Wael previously worked at Transport for NSW from December 2017 to July 2023, overseeing the Business Application Hosting Strategy program aimed at modernizing IT infrastructure. Wael has held project management and business analyst roles at various organizations, including IMA Management and Technology, NSW Trustee & Guardian, and the Office of Environment and Heritage. Wael's earlier career includes significant positions at Orange Egypt, where responsibilities spanned from head of value-added services to software engineering. Wael holds multiple master's degrees in operations management, marketing, and computing, along with a bachelor's degree in computer science from The American University in Cairo.
