David Lessinger

David Lessinger is an experienced urban planning professional specializing in climate adaptation and mitigation. Currently serving as the Greater New Orleans Market Lead and Senior Advisor in the Resilience Practice at CSRS since August 2018, Lessinger previously held important roles including Chief of Staff to the Chief Administrative Officer at the City of New Orleans and Director of Planning & Strategy at the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority. Earlier experience also includes serving as Deputy Director of Code Enforcement and working on blight policy and neighborhood revitalization for the City of New Orleans. Lessinger holds a Master’s degree in Regional Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a focus on Environmental Studies from Oberlin College.
