Markus Neumann

Markus Neumann is an experienced professional in product management and software development, currently serving as the Head of Product Management and interim Head of Product Delivery at CSS AG since September 2025. Previously, Markus held multiple roles at Proemion from April 2016 to September 2025, including Head of Product Management and Product Owner for the Proemion DatenPlatform, where significant work was done to modernize the software stack. Markus also has a background as a Senior Java Developer focused on SaaS Data-Platform development, and earlier experience as a Software Developer at Keybird IT GmbH and in a developmental role at The OpenNMS Group. Initial career training as a Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration was completed at Deutsche Telekom from August 2000 to October 2003, which laid the foundation for a robust technical career.
