Anna Kaczmarek is a Resilience Specialist currently contracted to the NOAA Office for Coastal Management through CSS, focusing on nature-based solutions, living shorelines, risk communication, and adaptation planning. Previously, Anna worked as a Policy Consultant for the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative, where responsibilities included supporting public-private collaborations and assisting with grant proposals. Anna's experience includes roles as a Graduate Student Contractor for NOAA OCM at the University of Michigan, where qualitative research centered on coastal resilience, equity considerations, and resource analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Planning from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Studies from Northern Arizona University.
