Senior Remote Sensing Specialist at CSS

Rebecca Mataosky is a seasoned Senior Remote Sensing Specialist with extensive experience in evaluating and processing topographic and topobathymetric lidar data. Currently employed at CSS since March 2019, Rebecca supports the NOAA Office for Coastal Management and contributes to the NOAA Digital Coast Data Access Viewer (DAV). Prior experience spans from September 2008 to February 2019 at The Baldwin Group, Inc., also with NOAA OCM, and from 2007 to September 2008 as an Image Analyst at Perot Systems Government Services. Earlier professional experience includes serving as a Cartographer at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency from 1987 to 1996, focusing on bathymetric data evaluation. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Oceanography from the Florida Institute of Technology, obtained between 1985 and 1987.
