Osama Alsalous

Osama Alsalous serves as the Director of Research and Innovation at CSSI Inc since June 2022, following a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from January 2019 to May 2022, focusing on air transportation systems within the Civil Engineering - Transportation Systems PhD program. Previously, Osama worked at CSSI Inc as a Trajectory Data Analyst, supporting the FAA by processing and analyzing airborne trajectory data. Experience also includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech in the Air Transportation Systems Lab and working as a Site Civil Engineer for Consolidated Contractors International Company on the Doha Expressway project, where leadership of a multinational construction team was required. Osama's early career includes a role as a Civil Engineer at Manwa Trading & Contracting, focusing on highway design and estimation. Educational credentials include a PhD and Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Jordan.
