Valentine Lavaud

Valentine Lavaud is an experienced professional with a strong background in research and development, particularly in materials and environmental performance. Currently serving as an Ingénieur Recherche & Expertise at CSTB since April 2022, Valentine is involved in deploying tools and methods for environmental declarations. Previously, Valentine held roles at Hexcel Corporation, including Material R&D Project Manager, where several projects were managed to enhance understanding of material properties, and R&D Engineer in the Textile Characterisation Laboratory, focusing on testing methods for textiles used in aerospace composites. Earlier experience includes roles at Air France Industries, Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, and Rexiaa Group, contributing to composite repairs, knowledge management, and manufacturing processes. Valentine holds a Mastère in Sustainable Change Management from Arts et Métiers, an MS in Composite Materials from Imperial College London, and an Engineer's degree from Centrale Lyon, complemented by foundational education at Lycée Blaise Pascal.
