Abby Hoffman

Abby Hoffman is an experienced public health professional with a diverse background in epidemiology and infection prevention. Currently serving as the AMD Senior Program Analyst at the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists, Abby has previously held key roles including Program Specialist VI at the Texas Department of State Health Services and Infection Preventionist at the CDC Foundation. With expertise in various laboratory techniques, including microbiome analysis and in vitro testing, Abby's career also includes experiences as an Epidemiologist at Denton County Public Health and an Antimicrobial Resistance Fellow. Abby's educational qualifications include a Master's degree from Georgetown University focused on Biohazard Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Diseases and a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Montana State University-Bozeman.
