Hunter Bohon, MPH, is an accomplished public health professional currently serving as a CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, a position held since August 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a campaign intern for Joe Cobb's re-election campaign, a summer intern at the Monongalia County Health Department, and a research intern at Roanoke Area Ministries, where research focused on support for at-risk populations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional experience includes serving as a Student Research Assistant at West Virginia University, providing support in the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Hunter Bohon earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Roanoke College and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at West Virginia University.
