Theresa Burrough

Theresa Burrough, MBA, MPA, CPA, currently serves as Controller at the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists since July 2023. Prior to this role, Theresa was Accounts Receivable Manager for the Atlanta Hawks from October 2021 to July 2023 and held the position of Capital Asset & Claims Reconciliation Manager at the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia from November 2020 to August 2021. Additional experience includes serving as an Accounting Instructor at Southern Crescent Technical College, Director of Finance at SIDE BY SIDE BRAIN INJURY CLUBHOUSE, INC., and Financial Controller roles at TechBridge, Inc. and MobPartner Inc. Theresa's early career includes positions such as Accounting Manager at GameTap LLC and Interim CFO at Future Foundation, Inc., along with a role as Senior Tax & Compliance Analyst at The American Cancer Society. Educationally, Theresa holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University and two MBAs in Business Administration and Accounting from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
