Kent James

Kent James, PHR, SHRM-CP, currently serves as Senior Manager of Learning & Talent Development at CSX, where responsibilities include designing and managing enterprise-wide talent and culture initiatives, leading a high-performing team to deliver the organization’s talent development strategy. Previous roles at CSX include Manager of Learning and Design, where Kent's team developed company-wide employee development and leadership programs, as well as a Diversity Senior Analyst, focused on promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization. Before joining CSX, Kent worked at ABF Freight as a Transportation Sales professional, generating new business partnerships. Kent holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's degree in Supervision and Management from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
