Michael Swain

Michael Swain possesses extensive experience in transportation management and operations research. At CSX Transportation, from May 2000 to present, roles include Manager Network Scheduling/Business Architect/Service Planning, where a multi-million dollar modernization project was successfully led, improving railcar routing and resulting in over 20 million annual car mile reductions. Additionally, analysis and support for operational efficiency were provided in the role of Manager Operations Research. Currently, Michael Swain serves as Airport Manager at Hilliard Airpark, overseeing airport operations, safety, and compliance. Michael's academic background includes an Executive Business Leadership Program from the University of Maryland College Park and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of North Florida.
